The modular floating body to be made of the watertight floating units connected by the special connectors. The advantages of the modular floating body to be as follows:

(1)  Easy connection. The modular floating body can be assembled and disassembled repeatedly.

(2)  The big floating body can be divided into small units, so it will be convenient for transportation by sea, river, railway or road.

(3)  The modular floating body can be built and assembled on any site without restriction. It changed the conventional demands on the construction site, like the berth and shoreline is no more a necessity.

(4)  The standard units can be built at the same time, thus, the delivery period is shortened.

(5)  The modular units are replaceable, so it is easy to change or enlarge the floating body according to the requirements.
